Renovation & New Construction
The project is designed to meet a wide range of district needs, incorporating approximately 27,500 square feet of new space while also renovating portions of the existing K-12 school building. A key academic enhancement is the addition of a career tech/FFA classroom with flexible lab space, supporting hands-on learning opportunities.
Athletic and performance spaces have also been significantly improved. The existing junior high gymnasium was expanded westward and converted into the varsity high school gym, increasing spectator seating for extracurricular athletics. The gymnasium now features a permanent elevated stage at the east end, enhancing the district’s fine and musical arts programs while maintaining deployable bleachers for sporting events. The stage includes ADA accessibility and direct access to the band instrumental room. Additionally, the gymnasium provides convenient access to new locker rooms, coaches’ offices and support spaces.
The project also incorporates a new community center, which includes a wellness center and a multi-purpose room/auxiliary gymnasium. Designed to be accessible to the public during school hours while remaining separate from school operations, the community center offers various recreational opportunities. The multi-purpose room features basketball, volleyball, and pickleball courts, as well as a walking track and a mezzanine-level batting cage.
