Duties will include on-site construction observation, coordination between contractors and the design team, reporting and recording information, shop drawing review and attending progress meetings.
Desired experience/skills:
- Three to five years of experience in the construction field with a broad knowledge of construction practices and materials
- Strong organizational abilities and excellent communication skills

Interior Designer
Garmann Miller is seeking a mid-level Interior Designer for our Minster, Ohio, office. We are looking for a creative designer with excellent communication and technical skills. This position works closely with our multi-service design team, which includes architects, engineers and marketing professionals.
In this career, you would be responsible for generating and developing dynamic design ideas mainly for K-12 education learning environments. Applicants must have a passion for planning, materiality detailing and furnishings. This role manages project expectations from concept design through construction administration, and maintains relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and craftspeople.
The ideal candidate would work in all aspects of design, including construction documentation, samples management, budgeting and estimating. You’ll collaborate with other team members to find design solutions that provide the best value to the client.
Technical skills in AutoCAD and Revit and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA-accredited program. The ideal candidate has 3-7 years’ experience in Interior Design or Interior Architecture and has a strong desire to learn or build upon an existing career in K-12 education design. Previous commercial or education design experience is preferred.

Project Manager/Project Architect

Garmann Miller is seeking a Designer/BIM Modeler in our Columbus or Minster, Ohio, office with a minimum 1-3 years of experience in the profession. Candidates will be responsible for producing design and construction documents and coordinating/communicating project needs with the design team.
