SCOPE
New Construction
Zanesville City Schools strengthened its campus with a new multipurpose STEAM, performing arts, and athletic performance facility designed to support learning, creativity, and student development at every level. Purposefully planned to serve elementary, middle school, and high school students, the building brings together academic, artistic, and physical programs under one roof.

At the heart of the facility is a comprehensive STEAM center supporting science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics education. Dedicated labs provide space for hands-on learning and house the district’s robotics programs across all grade levels, encouraging collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation from an early age.
Athletic and wellness components further expand the building’s impact. An indoor artificial turf training area supports year-round practice and skill development, while a dedicated strength-training room serves middle school physical education and athletic programs. Together, these spaces reinforce the district’s focus on student health, safety, and performance.

The building also features a true auditorium designed to elevate performing arts programming, complete with off-stage storage to support rehearsals, performances, and technical needs. These spaces allow students to explore creativity while gaining confidence through performance and presentation.
In addition, a life-skills classroom provides students with opportunities to learn practical, real-world skills such as cooking and laundry, supporting independence and lifelong learning.
This facility reflects a holistic approach to education—one that blends academics, arts, athletics, and life skills—while serving as a lasting investment in students and the broader Zanesville community.
