Mike Kessel has a comprehensive background as an architect and project manager, with a strong interest in education and public safety projects that create lasting value for communities and those who serve them. At the heart of his work is the process itself. Mike enjoys guiding clients from early conversations and concepts to fully realized spaces, whether through renovations, additions, or new construction. Seeing an idea transform from a vision into a built environment is what continues to motivate his work.
He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Kent State University and is licensed to practice architecture in multiple states.
Outside the office, Mike spends his time hiking, biking, and exploring the National Parks with his wife and son, as well as coaching his son’s baseball teams. A musician at heart, he plays multiple instruments and enjoys recording original music. His bass guitar can be heard on three albums.
