Grand Lake Health/Premier Health South YMCA

The Grand Lake Health/Premier Health South YMCA expanded its Minster facility to meet growing demand for recreation, fitness and community programming. Serving members as well as local schools and athletic programs, the YMCA needed additional space to accommodate an increasingly busy schedule of activities.

The expansion added a new gymnasium and approximately 3,600 square feet of open-concept fitness space. The new fitness center brings cardio and strength-training equipment together in a larger, more flexible environment while creating additional room for stretching and future equipment.

Additional gym space helps alleviate scheduling demands created by youth basketball leagues, school athletic programs, open recreation, and activities such as volleyball and pickleball. The expanded facility provides greater flexibility for both organized programming and everyday member use.

Designed to support the YMCA's long-term role in the Minster and New Bremen communities, the expansion increases opportunities for recreation, wellness, and community connection while positioning the facility to serve growing needs for years to come.
