Craig Knapke is a project manager, based in our Celina office, with more than two decades of experience in civil engineering. He oversees the planning, design, and coordination of a wide range of projects, including water and wastewater systems, storm sewers, roadway improvements, park facilities, and related studies. Licensed as a professional engineer in Ohio, Craig brings both technical expertise and a strong background in project funding to help communities achieve their goals.
What he values most about his profession is the opportunity to serve others, especially by helping municipalities secure grant dollars that make vital infrastructure improvements possible. Among his most rewarding moments are notifying communities that their projects have been funded, knowing the positive impact those investments will bring to residents’ everyday lives.
Craig earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Toledo and an MBA in management from Wright State University. Before becoming a project manager in 2003, he spent three years as a surveyor, giving him firsthand insight into the complexity and diversity of engineering projects.
Outside the office, Craig enjoys following his two daughters in their sports endeavors and spending time with friends and family. On his bucket list: traveling to Hawaii and Alaska.
