SCOPE
New Building

Garmann Miller designed a 9,845-sf building for Do Good Restaurant and Ministries. We worked with owner Karen Homan, who acted upon visions she received from the Holy Spirit and incorporated them into a three-story, Christian-focused environment. It was important to listen and understand the vision God gave Karen to achieve a design to meet her objective to provide a welcoming space for fellowship. The facility functions as a full-service restaurant as well as a mission field for faith-based programs that give glory to God and spreads His word.

The first floor consists of a restaurant that seats approximately 90 people, the Hebrews coffee bar, a soft-seating area with a fireplace, restrooms and a commercial kitchen. The second floor is a gathering room that overlooks the restaurant below. It has a large soft-seating area surrounded by windows, restrooms and a staff prep area for serving the upstairs guests. The basement consists of a large meeting room, future clinic rooms, restrooms and storage areas. The outdoor covered patio allows visitors to dine outside and enjoy the beautiful koi pond and nearby activity area. Do Good’s mission of sharing God’s love and spreading His word continues to grow as well as its dedication to giving back to area families in need.
