SCOPE
New Build
Elida Elementary houses grades PK-5 in a 130,211 sf secure, flexible and inviting learning environment. The new building space nearly doubles the size of the old elementary school. In an effort to maintain continuity throughout the district, a similar exterior masonry veneer and standing seam metal roof were selected to complement the high school building. The academic wings include classrooms, intervention rooms, shared science/technology labs, and areas carved out for extended learning opportunities as well as spaces for staff collaboration. The building includes a compliant ICC 500 storm shelter.

Additional LFI money for the project allowed the district to provide more classroom space, terrazzo flooring throughout the building, and a playground complete with turf surfacing and play equipment that is enjoyed by the students and community.

They were instrumental in pushing us to have a bond issue approved by voters prior to approval from the state. The work they have done from that point on has been nothing short of high quality, top-notch professional service.
