Faith Alliance Church needed additional space to accommodate its growing congregation. Garmann Miller worked closely with the church leadership to understand their overall goals, vision, and mission, and then created a master plan accordingly. After developing a thorough master plan and providing renderings and animations to help the congregation better understand the project vision, a successful financial donor campaign led to the building project coming to fruition.
The overall building project entailed a significant portion of the existing building being heavily renovated and a new building addition. The new building addition, which is centrally located on the front façade of the church, serves as an easily identifiable and welcoming main entrance to the main lobby of the church. The building addition includes large offices, which serve multiple functions by being used as small group meeting spaces after hours. The existing main entrance foyer was expanded and renovated to provide an interactive and social gathering area for the church’s congregation and visitors. The entire sanctuary was expanded to the west and north and heavily renovated with a focus on interior enhancements, new furnishings and technology equipment, and an expanded stage for the worship team. With another focus on the growing children’s ministry program, a larger children’s check-in area was created to help with circulation, visibility, and security to all the various age-level specific classrooms and nursery rooms.
