SCOPE
New Construction
Wawasee Community School Corporation has begun construction on a state-of-the-art, 45,000-square-foot performing arts center designed to support a wide range of artistic performances and events. With seating for 750 guests, the main auditorium offers an experience that is both intimate and grand.
The facility features a full fly stage, enabling complex and dynamic productions. In addition to the main theater, the center includes fully equipped band and choir rooms, each designed with enhanced acoustics and ample space for rehearsals and performances. A black box theater provides a flexible venue for experimental and small-scale productions, ensuring a suitable space for every type of performance.

Adjacent to the stage are a spacious scene shop for prop construction, two large dressing rooms for performers, and a guest locker room to accommodate visiting groups. The welcoming main entrance and gathering area is designed to comfortably host audiences during intermissions.
The performing arts center will be a hub of creativity, offering top-tier facilities for students, staff, and the broader community. The center is scheduled to open in fall 2026.
