Garmann/Miller Architects-Engineers has earned national recognition for outstanding achievements in key business performance metrics. The Minster- and Columbus-based firm earned PSMJ Resource’s exclusive Circle of Excellence honors for the second year in a row, which recognizes firms that are successfully managed in areas such as profitability, productivity, business development, staff growth and turnover.
A total of 65 architecture, engineering and construction firms were chosen out of 323 that participated in the 2020 PSMJ Financial Performance Benchmark Survey.
“It’s an honor that our business model and practices are ranked among the industry’s best,” said CEO Eric Baltzell. “It gives us a picture of where we measure up and how we want to invest future resources to elevate our performance.”
PSMJ is a leading global authority on effective management of AEC firms. The survey is the go-to industry resource for firms aiming to increase cash flow, lower overhead and improve overall financial results. Now in its 40th edition, the comprehensive report provides key research and insight for making critical decisions that impact success.
“Each year, the Circle of Excellence firms come from all corners of the AEC space,” said Frank A. Stasiowski, founder and CEO of PSMJ Resources. “This diversity demonstrates that success isn’t defined by a specific firm size, location or market niche. The top-performing firms just think and act differently from the rest of the pack to achieve extraordinary business performance.”
Garmann/Miller will be honored during PSMJ’s annual conference, THRIVE 2020: The Growth, Profit and Success Summit for A/E/C Firm Leaders, Oct. 14–16, 2020. A full list of Circle of Excellence recipients can be found here.
