Attendees at the Indiana School Boards Association/Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents (ISBA/IAPSS) Fall Conference and the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Capital Conference joined Garmann Miller to raise nonperishable food donations for local nonprofits supporting families in need.
Conference attendees took on Peelin’ Lucky, GM’s human slot-machine game, where every play earned a canned food donation, and matching three of a kind doubled the contribution.
At the September ISBA/IAPSS event, participants generated 310 food donations for St. Vincent de Paul Indy, accompanied by a cash match from the Game Changers, GM’s internal philanthropic committee. In November, OSBA attendees earned 409 cans for the Worthington Resource Pantry, again supplemented by a Game Changers cash match.
“It’s inspiring to see the difference we can make when we partner together,” said GM CEO Eric Baltzell. “Thank you to everyone who stepped up to help our neighbors in need.”

These moments remind us of what’s possible when we team up for good. GM and the Game Changers will carry that energy forward to support families through the winter and beyond.
