Garmann Miller was established 29 years ago on three guiding principles: 1) Deliver exceptional service; 2) Produce quality design; and 3) Always do what’s right.
This client-first approach, introduced by our founders Brad Garmann and Bruce Miller, continues to serve the firm as a foundation for success. In 2022, Garmann Miller earned Best Firms to Work For honors again by industry research leader Zweig Group, an accolade that recognizes the outstanding workplaces at North American architecture, engineering and construction firms.
Firms are evaluated comprehensively on various categories from both a management and staff perspective, which include culture, workplace practices, benefits, retention rates, professional development and more. Awards were given in multiple categories based on firm size and discipline. Garmann Miller came in at No. 6 overall this year in the 50-99 employee category, up five spots from 2021.
“The Best Firms to Work For program is a powerful view of what the employee experience looks like in today’s top AEC firms,” said Zweig Group CEO Chad Clinehens. “Firms can use this ranking and the data it yields as a powerful tool in recruiting and retention of staff, which is the No. 1 challenge for many AEC firms. People are the most important asset in the AEC industry that the 2022 Best Firms to Work For are protecting and elevating that asset.”
Winners will be honored at the 2022 Elevate AEC Conference and Awards Gala held at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa & Casino in Las Vegas, Sept. 14—16.
“Our goal is to maintain a culture where our people feel valued and create an environment where they can make a difference,” Garmann Miller CEO Eric Baltzell said. “We aim to hire great people and put them in a position to do great things.”
