Garmann Miller congratulates team member Chad Schroer who recently passed his Professional Engineering examination and is now a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Ohio.
To qualify for the PE exam, Schroer passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam in June 2020 and met the minimum requirement of having four years engineering experience with an EAC/ABET-accredited degree.
In honor of this achievement, let’s spend a few minutes getting to know Chad:
Q1: What are you most looking forward to this summer?
A: Spending time with my newborn baby boy and a family vacation planned later this summer.
Q2: Now that you’ve crossed this accomplishment off your list, what’s another bucket list item of yours?
A: From a professional development perspective, another bucket list item would be to become a Lighting Certified (LC) Professional.
Q3: Any advice for someone considering becoming an engineer?
A: The path to becoming an engineer may be difficult, but never let the challenges or struggles discourage you along the way. These challenges and struggles are temporary and will ultimately lead to a fun and rewarding career as an engineer.
