Garmann/Miller is ranked among the nation’s top 100 architectural and engineering firms, according to Building Design+Construction’s 2019 Giants 300 Report. The Minster- and Columbus-based company came in at No. 91 on the annual list that ranks businesses for nonresidential and multifamily buildings work.
Established in 1993, the full-service design firm has performed work in nearly half of the state’s 88 counties with educational, municipal and state projects. In addition to its multiple LEED-certified elementary and high school buildings, Garmann/Miller has designed several higher education facilities and vocational centers, which includes the new Miami Valley Career Technology Center, Vantage Career Center in Van Wert, Millstream Technical Career Center in Findlay and Apollo Career Center in Lima. Vantage, Millstream and Apollo have have received LEED Gold certification. GMAE also is busy partnering with The Ohio State University on multiple engineering projects and recently broke ground on New Bremen Local Schools’ new $17 million elementary and middle school.
Now in its 43rd year, Building Design+Construction’s annual Giants 300 report ranks AEC firms by discipline and across more than 20 building sectors and specialty services. More than 485 U.S.-based architecture, engineering, and construction firms participated in the 2018 Giants 300 report.
