GMAE recently was featured in the Columbus Chamber of Commerce’s Member Spotlight on columbus.org and its e-newsletter. One of the questions asked of us for this profile was, “What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?” It was hard to come up with a simple response for a city that offers so much to those who live and work in the capital region. With 614 Day approaching, it was nice to reflect on our answer.

Exciting growth, which brings new business opportunities. Diversity of people and access to a variety of different perspectives, which helps when developing business strategies and leads to higher creativity. Columbus also has great restaurants and attractions that add to our quality of life and team-building opportunities. There also are no shortage of philanthropic efforts to get involved with and give back to our communities as well as trade shows and networking opportunities for professional development.

614 Day happens every June 14. It’s a day to celebrate Columbus. Those participating in 614 Day are encouraged to celebrate local across the city. Eat local, drink local and buy local. We’d like to encourage everyone to check out the event to learn more about this virtual celebration.
