Our founders, Brad Garmann and Bruce Miller, identified three guiding principles when they came together to establish our firm in 1993: 1) Create quality design, 2) provide exceptional service and 3) always do what’s right.
These core values still remain, as we continue our commitment to doing what’s right. One unique way we do this is through our GAME Changers committee, a dedicated group of Garmann Miller team members who plan and perform philanthropic endeavors throughout the year.
Established in 2019 as a strategic plan key priority, enhancing lives remains the reason we do what we do. At Garmann Miller our efforts go way beyond designing four walls and shaping spaces; it’s about being a true community partner to enhance how people work, live and play in our environments.
Through the GAME Changers, Garmann Miller dedicates eight hours per employee of paid volunteer time annually—that equates to 496 hours of giving back to the communities we serve. Collectively, our team provides volunteer time, talent and treasure to approximately 100 philanthropic, educational and not-for-profit organizations each year.
GAME Changers’ efforts have included delivering meals and snacks to area frontline healthcare workers and, most recently, collecting 241 pairs of new socks donated by employees to go with a $520 monetary donation to Hannah’s Socks, a non-profit organization in Perrysburg, Ohio, that provides socks to those in need.
