The holidays are full of so many wonderful things. From the bright lights twinkling to festive décor decking the halls, the Christmas season is truly a special time to reflect on our blessings. At Garmann/Miller, we believe that it’s better to give than to receive. Enhancing lives is a priority to us, and we find many ways to give back to our communities throughout the year.

To end 2020, team GMAE decided to make it the focus of our holiday gifts by featuring products from companies that pay it forward and by supporting local businesses. A key component was a monetary donation in our clients’ honor to the organization, Hannah’s Socks, in Perrysburg, Ohio. Team members also were challenged to donate new pairs of socks. They stepped up and generously contributed 241 pairs that were delivered with GMAE’s check.

As the New Year draws near, we hope you find reasons to reflect upon and celebrate this season of giving, too.

Hannah’s Socks has donated over half a million pairs of socks to those in need. Inspired by a 4-year-old girl who wanted to give a homeless man her socks, the organization has grown into a nationally recognized program that serves men, women and children affected by homelessness, poverty and domestic abuse, as well as low-income seniors, active military personnel and underprivileged children.
