Garmann Miller recently hired two professionals to its award-winning design and planning team: Jacob Roberts, designer, and Rebecca Backs, administrative assistant. Both team members will be based in the firm’s Minster office.
“We believe Rebecca and Jacob fit our client-first culture, and we’re excited to have them on board,” said CEO Eric Baltzell. “They add smart design and organizational solutions to our team.”
Roberts is serving GM on a part-time basis until he graduates with his master’s degree in architecture from Bowling Green State University in May 2022. He earned bachelor’s degrees in construction management and architecture from BGSU in 2020. A Botkins, Ohio, native, he has held internships at professional firms, where he helped design educational and commercial facilities, and compiled construction documents.

She is the primary contact on company phones, welcomes and directs visitors, and assists project managers with submittal coordination and various tasks. She currently is working on a human resources degree from Rhodes State College.
