We’re pleased to announce the 2026 recipients of Garmann Miller’s annual Game Changers Scholarship: Addison Blindauer of Botkins High School (Botkins, Ohio), Lanie Sheets of Ayersville High School (Defiance, Ohio), and Mallory McGowen of Fairfield High School (Goshen, Ind.).
Each of these high school graduating seniors has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship to support their next chapter in higher education.

Blindauer (left) will be attending Ball State University to study architecture. Sheets (middle) will study interior architecture at The Ohio University, and McGowen (right) will focus on comprehensive design at Indiana University.
“At Garmann Miller, we believe in investing in people,” said GM CEO Eric Baltzell. “These scholarships are one way we support the next generation as they pursue their goals and begin shaping the future of our communities.”
Launched in 2021, the Game Changers Scholarship reflects GM’s commitment to investing in future leaders. The program is led by employee volunteers who partner with local high school guidance counselors to connect with students pursuing careers in architecture, engineering, construction, communication, and design.
Through their applications, students share their ambitions and ideas, offering a look at the perspectives that will help shape the future of our industry and our communities. Supporting that momentum is at the heart of what this program represents.
We’re proud to recognize this year’s recipients and look forward to seeing what they create next.
