At Garmann Miller, the spirit of giving isn’t limited to National Volunteer Month in April — it’s woven into the fabric of our culture year-round. Each team member receives sixteen hours of paid volunteer time annually, allowing them to support causes of their choice that are close to their hearts. Additionally, our Game Changers team plays an active role in organizing service opportunities, fostering an environment where everyone is encouraged to make a difference.
Recently, Game Changer Cody Tebbe made his debut as a guest reader at Piqua Catholic School, visiting his wife’s third-grade classroom. “The kids were so excited to meet ‘Mrs. Tebbe’s Husband,’ and I even got to help with a cute little math activity,” Cody shared. Although he was a little nervous, after the experience, he hopes to revisit the classroom in the future to be a volunteer reader again.

Meanwhile, Elaine Ahrns contributed her time at Agape Ministries Food Pantry. Agape is a nonprofit charitable organization providing for those in need in western Auglaize County, including St. Marys, Minster, New Bremen and New Knoxville. They have operated for more than 40 years and are primarily supported by donations from the community.
Elaine assisted in stocking shelves to support the community. “The donations help local families, and they ensure there is no waste. The staff is fun, and the work is rewarding,” Elaine said. She is inspired by the continued generosity of the local community and proud to support Agape’s mission.

From reading in classrooms to serving in food pantries, Garmann Miller’s Game Changers are living out the company’s mission to give back.
